CWA is pleased to be presenting a technical paper on coal dust mitigation systems for operating mines on February 6th, 2020.
The CoalSMART conference is an annual gathering organized by the Western Canadian Coal Society (WCCS), that features technical presentations by professionals in the coal industry and provides networking opportunities for attendees. Presentations are aimed at facilitating the sharing of technical, scientific, and operational knowledge among participants in Western Canada’s coal industry.
Daryl Thomas, CWA’s Project Services Director for Mining and Energy, will be at The Vancouver Convention Centre presenting a technical paper on operational considerations related to:
Coal Dust Mitigation: What Have We Learned at Coal Terminals that can be Applied at Operating Mines and Used for Regulatory Permit Applications.
CWA has extensive experience in the design, construction, and implementation of dust control systems for a wide variety of facilities across multiple sectors. We look forward to sharing our experience and perspective on the design of systems that offer practical solutions to dust management challenges and that meet today’s regulatory and permit requirements for operating coal mine facilities.
