Norda Stelo’s Vancouver office recently held its Annual Celebration Event, gathering together for a festive gala evening at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre. The evening’s Master of Ceremonies, Jean-Philippe Couture — Director, Strategies and Operational Excellence — engaged the banquet crowd with his opening remarks before introducing Ray Chu — Vice President, Western Canada and USA — who highlighted that the heart and strength of the company comes from its people and their commitment to excellence and innovation. Next, taking centre stage, CEO, Alex Brisson inspired the audience noting the achievements of the company over the past year and the exciting path ahead as Norda Stelo’s team continues to grow.
Joane Saint-Onge — Vice President, Infrastructure — and Ray Chu, presided over one of the highlights of the evening, the much anticipated presentations to winners of the 2024 Innovation Awards. As in past years, there was stiff competition amongst a talented slate of competitors, with the following winners being announced:
First place prize was awarded to Rhianna Dunlop (Mechanical Engineer, E.I.T.) and Hossein Bajehkian (Structural Engineer, P.Eng.):
Second place prize was awarded to Katherine Ortiz (Mechanical Engineer, P.Eng.) and Paul Dunwoody (Mechanical Engineer, P.Eng.):
Third place prize was awarded to Evan McInnis (Mechanical Engineer, E.I.T.):
Congratulations were extended to all the participants and winners of the 2024 Innovation Awards.
